What you seem to be forgetting about 2pac is that when he came in the game, he talked about politics and society. Unfortunately, he became paranoid in his later raps, and used them to lash at, in what you would refer to as *gangsta rap*. Heck, I'd probably be paranoid to if there was a price on my head, and I'd already been shot in the head.

What's that gotta do with is rapping skills. And I take it you're referring to 'Only god can judge me' which was allot more 'f*ck you all* than *run and hide*
Oh and 'Changes' was relased after he died, not exactly lashing out

If you knew a lot about 2pac, you'd know that his whole beef with biggie rooted from the first time he got shot in the head outside a recording studio, when he was laying on the ground bleeding, one of the guys trying to help him was in Biggie's posse. 2pac was in a confused state, ya know, just being shot in the head, and immediately placed the blame on Biggie, and so thereafter he was paranoid that Biggie was trying to kill him, and obviously you can hear that in his later raps, and it explains his entire beef w/ him, whether it was justified or not.

both guys are talented... I think Biggie benefited from better production, though. You listen to his albums now, and they still sound new, whereas you listen to a lot of 2pac's stuff, and the beats sound very '90s. that said, I tend to prefer tupac, partly 'cause I'm from the west coast and so I grew up with his sound, but also because he seemed to have a bit more optimism in certain areas, and was open about his conflict over the violence he enacted.
