to settle the arguement
okay i am a Pac fanatic. i put the guy next to Christ...not really cause God is the **** but for real, i am going to settle the arguement of who was better...Pac or Biggie. aight Pac was THE ARTIST, and Biggie was THE RAPPER. bottom line, Biggie was a better freestylist and lyricist, with the most dynamic flow to ever grace our ears. now Pac, was a poet and revolutionary long before he was ever a rapper, "thug", actor, and legend. he would make u want to go out and start a movement, help out the less fortunate. he moved u. now niether is better than the other. they were....wait, ARE, the best in their own respect. so please let's stop this debate and just agree that they were two completely seperate people. they just collected a **** load of money off of the same thing and that's all they share in common. take care...and God Bless Pac and Biggie, their family, fans, and all u who read this with an open mind and take it to heart as a way to bring peace to this long debate. late

Kid, this is the internet, talk like a ****ing human being. Biggie ****s on Pac, his delivery is the best there is. Pac is a hypocrit, he raps about social change, yet perpetuates the same old cycle with the rest of his lyrics. It isn't cool to be a "thug" thugs get shot, and deserve it. |
I've always preffered tupac...
dude i cant listen to someone that actually SOUNDS like hes a fat ass....therefor 2-pac you got my vote
im feeling biggie, his ready to die album is epic and i just like his style way more.
i prefer biggie cuz i like his flow
biggie had a flow that no one has yet to touch
I guess its inevitable that this would turn into an East/West debate...
The truth is that neither was really the best pure MC of their time. However, what they both had was charisma and the ability to bridge the gap between the streets and the industry. In a weird way dying while their music was still relevant helped to preserve both men’s legends. Although the fact that Suge and Pac's greedy ass mom keep releasing his material is hurting his legacy IMO. The person who stated that Ready to Die was superior to any Pac album needs to re-check Me Against the World. Easily one of the best hip-hop albums of all time. |

Biggie n Pac bustin flow |
Everyone keeps saying that Pac was a hypocrite, but that's the thing no one man can be only one thing.
Sometimes we feel like crying, sometimes we feel like hugging our mums, sometimes we feel like helping the community, sometimes we just want to party, sometimes you just want to knock a bum out. That's the beauty of being human we are allowed to make mistakes and learn and grow from them. Us Humans are walking, talking contradictions full stop. That was the whole thing about Pac, you felt like he was human just like you because he was always making mistakes, always saying the wrong thing and putting his foot in it, A lot of people are popping off saying he was this and he was that, but I urge everyone to watch Ressurection, the film about his life which has him speaking very openly and honestly about his life, successes and failures. Now I personally never felt Biggie emotionally, he always just sounded like he was telling stories(the stories were dope don't get me wrong), he never moved me, never made me think, his true CRAFT when you REALLY listen to him had no depth or substance, it was the same thing that everyone talks about, money, cash, hoes, living in the ghetto and getting out of the ghetto. That's it. Pac grew up flat broke his mum was a junkie he moved house and hoods like Kids change their underwear. And you can hear it in his art he knows what it is to truly suffer and go without but STILL keep a smile on your face. Biggie's mum was a succesfull teacher and could afford to comfortably send Chris to private school and I personally hear that in his rhymes. (Pac had to drop out of his art school which he was able to go to for a couple years). Now for me Biggie was a much better RAPPER and LYRICIST. But Tupac was so much more then just a RAPPER he was a complete ARTIST with a vast and varied catalogue of work. The reason all the stuff that's been released since his death Bar Makavelli all sound the same was because they were all recorded around the same time(after All Eyes On Me and before Makevelli). And the reason his mum allows his albums to be released is because the revenue funds the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center For The Arts. www.TASF.org |
2Pac was better hands down. That's not questioning Biggie's talents-he was damn good. He was good at storytelling and had some really catchy tunes, but while Biggie spoke and never acted, Pac did. If you look at what happened in his life, you can see that he really was what he said. He never glorified the 'gangsta' life like other rappers now seem to love to do. He stood up against oppression, and if he wanted to say sometheing then he said it. He wanted to join Death Row, so he did. He wanted to leave the East Coast, so he did. You have to admire a man who doesn't let threats and bullets get in his way. He lived the life he wanted to live, and no-one changed him. That goes for his music. He rapped about things that were important to him, and not what were important to sell music. He did hate raps towards Biggie, hate raps towards Politics and raps about how black people were treated around the hood. He said things that were on the tip of everyone's tongue, but no-one said because they were afraid to. Biggie, meanwhile, did nothing anywhere near this influential. He was good, but not as good. And the poll results simply back up my statement.
^Of course he glorified a thug life like most rappers today, hes the one who sparked it, gimmie a break, dude got to Cali n picked up tha local vibe, then started expressing off it. He only spoke against oppression, he never even held a rally. And I think you mean he wanted to leave Death Row, so he did, not a difficult task either. I'm damn sure Biggie influenced many minds like Pac did yours, its just perspective. Everybody can say what they want to say, he's nothin special when it comes to that. N how do you know whether he was really afraid of .44 in his face or not, bitch please, nobody knows. Like I said, they equal eachother out.
Pac never held a rally? Uhh... yeah he did. He held many, in fact. That was where all that debate came from about his whole 'thug' persona, as they were called thug something or other. Plus it was pretty hard for him to change from Biggie's side to Dre's etc. He was switching from East Coast to West coast in the middle of the east/west coast war. Don't tell me that weren't difficult.

Pac came up with a manifesto which was named Thug Life, when he was talking about Thug Life he was talking about the oppressed taking back by any means necessary, which these Niggas today have got completely twisted. He came up with this manifesto which was about having a street code of ethics which many men who were incarcerated at the time but still had a heavy influence in the streets and the the urban community co-signed and told Pac they had his back no matter how he wanted to handle it. That's a lot of pressure for a twenty-one/two year old. In this manifesto it stated rules and the conduct which should be initiated. For example there should be no selling of drugs to minors or pregnant women, beefs should be handled in a private manner with no fear of innocents being caught in the crossfire, more businesses should be black/brown owned (he loved all races but these are the ones who are most suffering at the hands of America's neglect of it's own). In order to keep these businesses thriving and the community growing they should be able to self sustain and Police itself by us buying, giving and looking after ourselves(SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES), (Reminiscent of the original Black Wall Street and also what the Crips were initially put together for). As for rallys he did a hell of a lot of free concerts and what is known today as One Dollar Bill concerts where he would bring through big rap groups for a nominal fee that the hood could afford and the profits/proceeds would go to local schools and charities and in helping kids in the streets get to go on different programmes which helped them see more to life then the streets. People need to stop being one sided and stop allowing the medias contorted view of our prominent figures or mistakes these men and women have made in the past cloud your judgement of what they were/are truly made of. Take Jay-Z or Puff or Luda for instance these brothers do a whole heap for the under-privaliged but we never here about it. Although we ALL know about the court cases or who they're ****ing or how much money they have etc. People REALLY need to do their research before popping off at the mouth about stuff they have no real solid idea of other then sensationalised moments that have been heavily reported in history. |

See I would point out that we are on the Net so you can pop off at the mouth with all the ignorant **** you want and it will never come back to you. Damn I hate you Internet Thugs. People like you are the reason America has such a bad name across the globe blood, you refuse to think logically, openly and accept that people have different opinions across the globe, you're too close minded cousin. And for the record my Fam knew Pac so you can stop that **** right there my fam was actively involved in the Panther movement and had the privalige of working with many prominent figures within the African American community INCLUDING Pac's fam cuz. For someone who CLAIMS to have so much knowledge you seem to contradict yourself and your standing a whole lot. And for the record bruv BRIXTON NIGGAS BANG ALL DAY cuz and it aint no drive-by from across the road bull**** where everyone BUT the target gets hit. It's always up close and personal so we can see the the whites in a niggas eyes with or without the gat bruv. You need to have a little bit of respect for other peoples' opinions and research bruv and stop behaving so immature. Were you bullied at school or at work or something, so you take out your frustration on a computer screen because it wont bite back? And if you were HONESTLY aware of all the stuff I said in a previous post then why would you say all the junk you did before? Because I only posted iit because of all the crap you had posted. |

lmao, mighty load of bull**** there sensitve bytch, nice imagination though. I think net thugs the type that threaten you with a knife, not casually insult your intelligence as well as not get frustrated & discourse an entire page of an emotional rant while a lingering cliche 'scarface' quote obviously proves themselves to be a hypocrit. you dont know shyt, so shut tha fukk up period

You can't be taken seriously. Peace. And oh yeah, I'm not quoting Scarface, I'm quoting Scott Hall. |
Damn "mas"... That's quite a fan club you're accumulating here. You should think about it.

I like Tupac better. I find more meaning and heart in what he's rapping about than Biggie.

I know a lot of people cite 2Pac as being more "intellectual" and more of a poet, but I've never really found him to be any different than any other "gangsta" rappers. Anyway, not the biggest fan of either, but I've always preferred Biggie. Better lyrics, better flow, and better production.
I think both were amazing.. but tupac comes out on top imo
biggie rules
biggie is better all the time like sprite got lemon lime
I am from the West Coast..how could I possibly like East Coast rap...
Just trying to be funny... |
B.I.G. is total PWNAG3.
wtf does PWNT OR ^^ MEAN??
It means that Biggie would mutilate him on the microphone:bringit:
No please tell me what it means..
PWN means to thoroughly insult someone, usually to a point which no reply they give would top yours. Or it can mean to physically or mentally dominate someone else, like a fat dude sitting on a little kid, or even like a guy getting kicked in the junk by a little kid.
I think your opinion is all yours..(duh right) but I dont agree with it..2Pac was a way better rapper..lyrically..he just is.
^please die. thanx.
See thats not smart..thats letting me win by default cause you dont have a good enough arguement against mine..
But if thats what you wish..well.. Good riddance... |
