The Roots nowadays suck.

Illadelph Halflife and Things Fall Apart were amazing.

I highly disagree. How I Got Over is probably my favorite Roots record yet. The title track is just phenomenal in my opinion.

I think Illadelph Halflife remains my favorite, but I'm not going to knock the New Roots.
They're still amazing.

I only have Organix ('93) to Rising Down ('08)

I'll give How I Got Over a listen then.

I haven't heard their latest yet, but Game Theory has a permanent place in my car's album rotation. Not quite any kind of Top 5 ranking and yet typically there is only a few albums in my car at a given time, so really, in a sense...

bit of a late response, but I've been listening to The Roots quite a lot lately, specifically their more recent albums (i.e. anything they've done since 2000)
I actually really enjoy their newer stuff, and don't know why I dismissed it, How I Got Over, Game Theory and The Tipping Point are really good, only listened to Rising Down once and wasn't too keen, but I'll probably give it another listen at some point.
