Favorite Battle Emcee's
My favorites are:
Sage Francis Mac Lethal Jakki da MotaMouth Immortal Technique Eyedea Jin Sage Francis is hilarious in battles. When people try to diss him, he just dances around, the audience pays more attention to him that the person who is rapping. Mac Lethal is very cocky but he is still a great battle rapper. Alot of his sh*t sounds pre-written, or maybe that is just how good he is. Either way he is a good battler. Jakki da MotaMouth is just straight up mean as hell, and it's hilarious. Immortal Technique is just so mean too. There are absolutely no limits with him and his harrassing. I actually felt bad for Flow after Technique was done with him. Eyedea is so sarcastic and quick when he battles. I think he even won Blaze Battles once or twice. He is really funny, entertaining. Jin, Mr.AZN with a great style. He will tear you apart, and you'd never see it coming. |
Sage is better on paper than battling, and I dont care for Jins style at all.
good choices with Eyedea and Immortal though. |
Eyedea and Immortal are great battle rappers.
Immortal is brutal "You don't know the Technique/So don't tell lies/I'll shoot your mom in the back/and then fuck the bullet hole till she dies" Eyedea is good too, I just found a video of him battling Shells in the Blaze Battle Finals. |
Immortal Technique's good but . . . .
And Ms Jade. :hphones: I love her stuff. Peace |
This is the favorite battle rappers thread, not second rate, r&b pop rappers.
Read the OP before you reply like an idiot. |

Let's keep this thread serious.

Pff...since its your thread its all seriousness...when anyone makes a thread you always post junk in it:D...but yes ill stop because i have no interest in this topic

Eyedea
7l esoteric ghost face killa and that's all I can think. I know ghost face Killa's pretty mainstream now a days but it's still good stuff. I mean if I were a rapper (which I'm not) I wouldn't wanna battle him. He'd most likely rip me to shreds Peace |

I finally got around to getting the new album Fishscale, and it's actually pretty good. The whole album is a lot catchier than it should be. It's no Supreme Clientele, but it's better than I expected anyways. Doesn't sound like enough Rza beats in there. Overall he's really dropped off since leaving Epic; his sound has a typical Def Jam vibe to it. |
