Default De La Soul?

I've been checking the other forums for any mention of this band, but haven't been able to find anything. Have only heard... one? song of theirs in the past, but I rather liked it and would like to know if anyone knows more about this band. I've heard they're more of a rap-ish band, but the song I heard doesn't have much rap in it that I can tell.

I figured since we were on the topic of Spanish names-nevermind sometimes my humor can run dry when I stay up to late. De La Soul is pertty good for a hip hop group.

but, we weren't on the topic of name's, we were on the topic of "have you listened and can you help me out"
If you are looking for similar groups to De La (you probably heard their song "Me, Myself, and I") check out groups like Slum Village or even solo artist Common.

Talking

Yeah, "Me, Myself, and I" was the song I heard. Good guess. Anyone have any of their music? It's not even 6 A.M. and I'm tired off my rocker, so I don't feel like going anywhere else right now to download anything.

They really established a style with their first album, and totally buried it. I listened to their recent album, and its almost indistinguishable from many other groups

Cool Beans Ya'll. De la Soul is more of a Funkadelic style of HipHop. Cool stuff though. Peace.
