Anyone who thinks E-40 is commercial doesn't know sh*t about rap. I hate to say it, but it's true. listen to OLLLD original E-40, even his new sh*t is better than almost everything that's out now. He's one of the most original rappers I've ever listened too.

Ppl think he commercial now cuz he did some sh*t with Lil Jon. That was to make his money and get the bay on the map, and move away from all this down south crunk garbage.

I really hate Chingy and think that he is the worst! Although, I don't like the Ying-Yang Twins either. They suck!

Usually they make club anthems and that's what is wrong with rap today.

To me commercial rappers aren't real rappers. They are just acting like rappers. They don't have their own style and are just ripping from others. They do what is popular at the time and don't bring anything new to the game. They are FAKES.

Only a handful of rap is commercial. that's just what most people hear/see. And it seems like that mainly to people who don't listen to good rap, but just listen to stuff they see on tv/hear on radio..and they tend to generalize and think ALL rap is like that.

Not all of it. Most of the good stuff never gets mainstream play. Especially now adays.
