I didn't like Funk Man. The production was pretty nice, but Del isn't the same. Hopefully he'll pick it up again for the next 3030 album.

The next 3030 has as much chance as dropping as Detox.

Wow this thread has been left to die. I guess all the other times I've talked about Del has been on other threads....

Anyway, new Del track today:

It's nice to see Busdriver working with Del. Can't wait to check that out. Busdriver is pretty savage... and ****, Del's got so many projects running at once it's hard to keep track of. He's staying busy.

Yep, that radical weirdo Busdriver is set to release an EP with the legendary Del the Funky Homosapien. Or if you’re in the know you might refer to him as “Del tha Funkee Homosapien,” who is one of the very few highlights to come out of Oakland. You punk-ass snitches better recognize. Busdriver, just like your breast feeding high school “friends”, took to his Facebook page to share the news.

Did anyone check out Del and TameOne's EP/album Parallel Uni-Verses? That was hella sick too.

He's doing a 3-set. The first is all P-Funk samples. That's that one.

The second is all Fela Kuti samples, and it's dope:

The third one isn't out yet, but it's all Frank Zappa. Frank Muhfukin Zappa. THAT's gonna be the SHIIIIIT

I'm on Del's personal friends list and public page... I know what that dude is up to at all times.

He's also got an album with Parallel Thought coming out.

And Deltron Event II is just waiting for a good time to drop. Now would be fine by me, but he's done and it's production effects and release now.

From what I heard on the first 2 mixtapes, the samples aren't in your face, but if you're familiar with whichever artist, you really appreciate the mix. I don't know Fela yet, but I liked the PFunk one, and I'm excited about Zappa.
