their first album was the best the other ones are not even close. outkast is good but the rest of their albums to me only have 3-5 tracks that are good. their albums are overrated.

Their albums are in no way overrated, with the exception of Speakerboxxx/Love Below. Each album has it's own sound and it's own message. Every album is different from the one previous to it. You get rappers out today who release the same shit all the time, but not Outkast. With each of their albums they manage to spread themselves to a new group of people, and they dabble with other genres throughout each album. Outkast are the pinnacle of the rap game-they have everyone wondering what they will do next and what fresh sounds their next album will contain. Look at the people who have posted on this thread have had to say-many can't choose between which Outkast album is their favourite. For a Rap group to make such equally astounding albums is surely a testament to how great they are?

Speakerboxxx/Love Below... I mean, they had a lot of good upbeat songs on it, like "Hey Ya" And "Roses" (I love the video).

How is Speakerboxx/Love Below winning this contest?
That just goes to show that only radio-friendly, pop smash hits qualify an album as great.

It`s probably the only one people actually own.

The same way people think Ace Of Spades is Motorheads best album

I accidentally voted for Speakerboxxx/love below which doesn't help in a poll where only 13 people have voted. And like Urban said, everyone else only vote for that one because it's the only one people own. Or the people that don't own it vote for it because it has Hey Ya on it.

Or it could be that some people don't like their other albums as much as Speakerboxxx/lovebelow. Honestly, some of their previous albums are boring, so....

Yeah, or it could be just like we said, and you actually have't heard any of their other albums. That is what I'm placing my money on.

You find their other albums boring? If there is one thing that you can't label Outkast as it is boring. I would bet my house that you don't own any of their previous albums. In fact, I would place a small bet on the fact that you don't even own Speakerboxxx/love below, that you heard Hey Ya and Roses and decided that was the best album.
