Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik was a great album, but I wouldn't say it was the best. It was the purest 'rap' album that Outkast have ever managed to do, but it was missing that psychadelic straight up funk that kits you with their other albums. For me it goes....

1st: Stankonia
2nd: Aquemini
3rd: ATLiens
4th: Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik
5th: Speakerboxxx/Love Below
6th: Big Boi and Dre Present... Outkast

Well its not their best work but i think Speakerboxx/Love..etc
probably made them even bigger than they were..it really hit with the public
so that would prolly be their best decision album

what!?

I think Stankonia was the album that really shot them into the public eye and gained them mainstream success.

i've only heard Stankonia and Speakerboxxx

prefer only the Speakerboxxx part and not the Love Below part, except when Andre's directly imitating Prince (dry funk grooves)

so Speakerboxxx is my fave of the two (three?)

I agree with you on that one, Speakerboxx is clearly the superior of the two.

I just wasn't feeling the whole mushy love story crap in Love Below.

the mushy love crap is hardly as good as those on Maxwell's Embrya

Happy Valentine's Day and Behold...A Lady are pretty good Prince pastiches

the only remotely original-sounding song is Dracula's Wedding

yeah Maxwell is grammy worthy with his love songs.

I respect him for it.

I honestly like Southernplayalistic the best, with every album getting worse as they went along. That's not to say I don't enjoy all of their albums, I just like their first the most and their last the least.
