So you don't care for their 4th or 5th album?

Yea Tribe Called Quest are one of my favourite rap groups. Fun, and a lot more to their music compared to a lot of other groups.

They are good, no doubt, but nothing compared to the first three. World Class Hip Hop group, and second only to The Roots as my favourite collective ever.

This. The Low End Theory itself is arguably the most critically acclaimed hip-hop album of all time.

They are pretty sick though. Check the Rhime is one of my favourite hip-hop songs ever written.

"Excursions" is my favourite intro track on any Hip Hop album. I can recite every line and get shivers when the snares kick in.

the only rap songs I can remember end to end are "I Left My Wallet in El Seguendo" and "Bonita Applebum"

Personally, I think their 4th LP can stand toe-to-toe with their debut. Not their second or third, but definitely their debut. Love Movement is definitely their weakest imo.

Plus, their 4th LP has my favorite Tribe song, "Get A Hold". Such a top tune!
