Not that everything's not great.
What other albums should I check out and is Q Tip's solo stuff any good?

Q tips solo stuff is great but it goes in a different direction than ATCQ. He moves a little more into a radio friendly mode (some said sellout, but people are always ready to blow that whistle)
Think "vivrant thang"
Check out Amplified. And for ATCQ, just get Anthology.

When it comes to Tribe, outside of Low End Theory, Midnight Marauders and People's Instinctive Travels and Paths of Rhythm. After listening to those then move on to the rest, but really Low End and the other two mentioned are the only essentials. Im an avid hater of Greatest Hits comps because I feel albums are meant to be listened to as a whole and highly suggest you dont go the route of anthology.

For Q-Tip, his album that came out last year The Renaissance is pretty good and definitely one of the better hip-hop releases for the year. I havent really checked anything else but I hear Amplified is good too.

If you really like Tribe I also suggest checking out the Pharcyde and their two albums Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde and Labcabincalifornia. Fairly similar, but also amazing stuff. And J Dilla's debut as a producer is on Labcabincalifornia.

I've been listening to a lot of Tribe recently and it's dawned on me that surely they're one of the most underated acts out there in the grand scheme of things? Not many artists out there have as consistent a 3 album run as they did with their first 3 though they don't tend to get mentioned. Personally for me i'd say the definitely rival Wu Tang Clan these days asmy favourite hip-hop act.

I wouldn't recommend that.
I'd go with all 4 albums between '90 & '96
You'd be missing out on so many good tracks with Anthology.

Does anyone know why ATCQ self censored "The Low End Theory"?
