I always find it interesting when some people say they like Liquid Swords better than the Wus debut. It is definitely a close call.

My Wu Tang tastes tends to run counter to the majority, but I like Wu Tang Forever a lot more than ...36 Chambers. As far as solo albums go, there are just too many, and the whole Wu Tang syndicate is pretty far reaching. Liquid Swords and ODB's Return to the 36 Chambers would probably be my two favorites, but Killah Priest's Heavy Mental and Cappadonna's The Pillage are among many underrated Wu Tang affilliated albums, for sure.

36 Chambers is always gonna be my favorite, that sound was just so new and amazing. It was the launching point/stepping stone for so many great careers. It has such a special place in my heart.

I'd second that. To me ...36 Chambers was the equivalent of a warm up album. It's good, but they weren't quite at peak performance just yet. I think it gets such praise because it's become a time-tested classic and everyone seems to have memories that surround the album. I wish there were a lot more great Wu-Tang albums. Wu-Tang Forever was amazing; The W was decent, as was Iron Flag. 2007's 8 Diagrams was a huge disappointment. I strongly believe that most of the best Wu-tang performances are found on the solo albums and The Swarm compilations.

Enter 36 chambers for the crew together!

Only Built for Cuban Linx is the best solo one easily!
