GZA's Liquid Swords takes the cake.

And as he setup camp he got vamped
Put the stake through his heart, I ripped his ****ing thangs apart

Call me crazy, but out of all of the solo work I prefer ODB's Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version. It's a great listen, and I crack up at how crazy ODB was. It was like he was going to kill everybody in the room at any moment.

Liquid Swords is definitely the best. The beats on that album are solid and GZA has some pretty ****ing clever lines.

the new album isn't the best, but it's surprisingly sick.

It's called Wu Massacre

easily Wu Tang Forever. The RZA combined the sounds of Liquid Swords, Only Built For Cuban Linx, Ironman, and Return to the 36 Chambers for the album. Even RZA's proteges like True Master and 4th Disciple come through and show their stuff. One of my favortie beats on the album is "The City" by Deck, which was made by 4th along with "Older Gods" as well. A very well put together album as far as production and of course, the ryhmes are in top form by all members.

Best Wu Tang solo album is a bit tougher. With joints like Liquid Swords, Cuban Linx Pt. 1 and Ironman, it gets competitive. I have trouble picking between Swords and Linx Pt.1 myself.
