the thing about Will Smith...some of his more recent albums (like '98/99 or whatever - present) are light years ahead of **** like Soulja Boy...sad thing really.

Will's older **** isnt bad at all though

and who doesnt like that track Miami? loil

Will Smith is and will always be fly due to 'Parents Just Don't Understand'. That song MADE the 90s.

And I wouldn't consider Soulja Boy hip-hop. It's sad that he thinks he qualifies when it's just hyped-up dance music. But I guess since he insists he's hip-hop all of the damn time, he can join my list. However, it's pretty general, anybody who makes lukewarm beats and talks over them can't be qualified as a hip-hop artist for no good reason, which is why what everybody considers to be hip-hop in the mainstream isn't and therefore gets a bad rap.

Also, ICP is pretty damn horrible.

Rappers don't sing. They rap. And rapping is talking to a rhythm. Even Soulja Boy does that.

Kirby 09-28-2009 11:03 PM

Some rappers do sing.
