I don't really see how Weezer's blue album is much different than the first Ramones album. Pop songs sung through heavy riffs. Amazing how the definition of PUNK changes every year. Stop worrying about genres and just enjoy the music, you should be so lucky to have so many options

Dude, i like The Clash, i think they kick tons of ass..As for those other bands, i dont care for them but i wouldnt say they are bad...IMO the only truely bad punk bands are those who make a mockery of punk, such as Simple Plan and Good Charlotte, then it again it would be a stretch to call them punk, more like corperate crap that is labeled as punk by the record companys, record stores, MTV and teen and music magazines even though they are about as punk as Journey but thats ok because pre pubescent little boys and girls can't tell the difference and will force their poor parents to blow 15$ on their albums...This is just my opinion on your choices, im not complaining so to each his own.

Okay, well it's nice to get some feedback. But I guess what we all seem to think what genre music is in shouldn't matter. Maybe people should just talk about the bands.
