Female Punk Singers (techno, pop, fan, Gwen Stefani)

im not trying to be sexist, or make enemies, but does anybody else agree with me when i say that chicks cant sing punk?

Well Avril Lavigne can't, but I think Gwen Stefani totally can.

Gwen Stefani = not punk more like ska with pop parts.

I don't like chick singers at all except the Horrorpops and Nightwish. Only two I can stand

That's a pop artist that makes the occasional third wave ska song.

Sorry dude, all those bands you just named suck horribly. The singers of those bands parents shouldve had alternative birth options including abortion. Chicks cant sing punk. They are pretty good at ska though. And whats the deal with if youre a chick singer for a punk band you havta look like a man. Short hair on the ladies is deffinitly not kool! The Horrorpops arent punk sillys! Theyre psychobilly. Thats how they get away with being good.

Not only is this outright sexism, but also musical intolerance. While music is trying to encourage diversity and acceptance, you're doing us a big favor by making a ridicule of yourself.

Its all opinion. I can't stand the distillers nor do I like the slits, never heard of the rest ,but its all about what your taste are and I am not a big fan of chick singers
