All the female bands listed (except lavigne + duff) are punk. I think we should maybe look at the issue of there not being many good male punk bands. If we're talking about the likes of NOFX, bowling for soup, blink, good charlotte and new found glory then we should maybe look at how f*ckin awful their music is. None of the so called singers in these bands can sing.

If we're talking about the sex pistols.....they were awful and couldn't really play very much.

I'm trying to say, theres good punk and bad punk no mattter if they're male or female. If we're striving for sexual equality then we should stop putting "female" and "all girl" in front of the names of bands such as
the donnas (i kno they're not punk but you get the picture)
