Yeah normally bands that start off this young don't really make a career out of it but it's pretty cool what they did with Racist sexist boy. And obviously very impressive technically for such young performers.

Who knows, maybe they surprise us.

Of course it's gimmicky, but I don't see what's wrong with that. They rule, they seem to have lots of fun, and a sincere drive to make their music, which has nothing to do with who they happen to be. Nothing like the way the Spice Girls exploited their image, for instance. Dismissing them as a gimmick because they're young girls is a bit condescending anyway.

It's a good thing Ari Up didn't listen to this kinda bull****. Children deserve sex, drugs, and rock n roll the same as anyone.

Really young punk bands have been around - younger than
these 4 in some cases (even tho the drummer, Mila, was 7 or 8
when the band formed). Ones that come to mind are The Wankers,
The Hippies, and Color Killer, but the difference is that these girls
are waaay more fun. I hope it doesn’t dissolve in its own hype.

Great to hear those tunes again - especially Disco Pope!
One of those tunes I loved to dance to in clubs (and play on radio).
I think the guitarist, Jeff Maguire, died last year.
