one of the greates bands ever. unfortunatly it starts to sound kinda the same after awhile (to me at least). hence why i don't listen to the clash regularly.

The Clash are probably one of the greatest inspiratations there is in music, i can't think of any other bands who can pull off 19 tracks of consistantly diverse and awesome music.

That video was a joke though.

London Calling and Sandinista! are two of the most diverse albums of their time...possibly of all time. Have you only listened to their early stuff?

The Clash is one of my favorite bands. I love how they can go from classic ranting to sweet nostalgia to awesome reggae/ska to everything else they do. I'd think they're the most essential punk band, but they transcend that too.
