I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that. |

I really, really like Give 'Em Enough rope...
Using the melody from "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" on "English Civil War"... that is SO punk rock! "Stay Free" is almost a fin ballad, and they STILL make it rock one your socks. And how can we forget "Julie's Been Working For The Drug Squad?" But I'm not at all ashamed to admit that Combat Rock is my favorite Clash album... It's sorta' funny, it's considered a sell-out album... but what kind of sell-out punk albums have dance, reggae, arena rock, funk, rap, and pop songs? It may be the worst album for straight-up punk, but it's the best musically. No one will EVER touch "Straight To Hell"...
