Great band. Saw them in Providence, RI back in the late 80s. They perform one of the best cover songs of all time -- "Ring of Fire" originally by Johnny Cash (written by June Carter).

Social D kicks the door down with that one.

They are the only band to go from Punk to Rockabilly.One of my favorite bands too.I've always liked the song "1945" and he tells great stories live between songs.

ohh my god....social d is one of my fav bands...i have a couple of their albums(Live at the Roxy, and Sex, Love, and Rock N' Roll) and they rock!! This band is totally off the wall...and if you dont like em...well, uh...YOU SUCK! haha jm..

I have some of their stuff, but not enough to consider myself a fan. And to the person above me, if you have enough time on your hands to type on a message board (which we of course, all do) then I guarantee you have enough to write in a coherent manner.

Too bad Dennis Dannel died a few years back.Damn their line up has changed so many times Mike has been there since the beginning
