i'm new and i havn't seen a single Black Flag thread. anyone here like 'em? if so, whats your favorite album, song, etc.? and do you think Dez could have made a better vocalist than Henry Rollins?

Osh*t Hermione is onto me and my kind. Ah, wait, I can't afford a car or a massive collection of any physical musics so I think I'm safe actually. Well pissed off with the ****up that is Hevy Fest over here, the festival has split up and seems like its just going to be a one day show at Brixton which I can't be arsed for, so looks like Black Flag won't make it over here after all.

I think Rollins was fine on vocals. Part of the reason people think Dez was so much better is partially because of his stage presence which the vast majority of peopl never got to see anyway, so its no big deal. I do admit that Dez did some really good stuff early on, but I think Rollins complimented hime well. but in the end Im kind of dissapointed in how all of them went. I don;t like the rollins band, and Black Flags instrumental album was terrible. But When they were good they were DAMn good. Deffinetly one of my favorite bands of all time.

people think Black Flag is hardcore. thats stupid. i say its punk, and i got a lot of proof of that, but people still think its hardcore. whta is Black Flag to you?
