Fuck no.

What the fuck is it with people and bullshit nostalgia acts? Not to mention the video looks like it was made in something worse than Windows Movie Maker, I mean seriously?

Emo/country? Wtf? Those aren't even related. Emo is a subgenre of hardcore, so Black Flag must've influenced a lot of the first emo bands.

It was a joke answer, the poll. Do you seriously think someone would be that stupid?

The two new songs I've heard from them aren't bad as such, but they just lack the pent-up frustration and aggression that the band had in their early days. I'm always wary of old bands reforming, becoming a parody of themselves and turning into a nostalgia act. I'll have to hear their new album before I can tell but their new songs do sound a bit early Black Flag-by-numbers. Oh yes and the video for 'The Chase' is terrible, should have just left it at live footage.

I don't see the similarity to early Black Flag at all...the guitar style is straight out of later Black Flag, it's generally faster but that's all. Ginn wouldn't have used a theremin during the first four years either. Reyes is over the hill and I don't think he was ever as good as Morris/Cadena/Rollins. Some of the guitar lines are cool but it's all just so boring. Oh well, it's still way better than Good For You.

Reyes was the best vocalist BF ever had. And the new BF lacks balls, but Ginn hasn't had any balls in years.

Yeah he's the best. I guess that's why the new tracks are so good and no one bought those Off! albums.

You mean the Keith Morris lead band Off? Yeah Reyes played a big part in those Off albums, which I might add are quite good.

Yeah you missed my point. The statement "no one bought those Off! albums" was sarcastic. People did buy them. I was making the point that Morris is still releasing better music than Reyes (see new Black Flag v. Off! that was the comparison I was making.) The Jealous Again EP is alright, but he had only did a handful of actual noteworthy songs in his entire career. Some of which were done better by the other vocalists. I don't even like to listen to Reyes sing certain songs on Everything Went Black because why bother? Dez did them better.
