I buy maybe one metal album every other year so what would be the point in dividing everything up into sub genres for so little stuff.I call Iron Maiden a metal band people know what i`m talking about I call slayer a metal band people know what i`m talking about as well, if it`s metal , it`s metal. The term covers it adequetly enough for me. Same with punk , I could see why someone who only listens to punk & has albums by about 100 different punk bands would use sub genres , as I only like about 20/30 different punk bands the term punk covers it enough for me. Hence me calling Black Flag a punk band.

I saw Henry live on one of his spoken word tours and it was the funniest and most thought provoking thing that I think I have ever seen. I was riveted to my seat for the entire two and a half hours. Oh, and how could anyone think that Black Flag is anything but punk?
