Who Was The Hardest Punk Band Of '77?
who had the harshest and aggressive tone and style?
I'd nominate |

dead boys were the heaviest and meaniest for my money. wouldnt have a snowball's chance in hell in today's pc "punk" scenes. true degenerates. |

The Lurkers and Slaughter And The Dogs were probably the ones that stuck out for me back when the 2 7's clashed. SLF too the following year. Started working in London's west End around that time and you could see the pub rock to Punk slide at live venues.
