Life Won't Wait is pretty much their ultimate example of how much they wished they were The Clash.

I kinda like Rancid 2000 though.

yeah, that is nice bit of comedy. I posted it once and got threatened to be punched in the face.

I saw Rancid a few years back, realized how Tim just slurs and does a strum here and there, while the rest of the band do everything.

Oh, then your friends are flops. Rancid is horrible and that comic is spot on.

meh, "...And Out Come the Wolves" is a great album. Most anything else they have done, crap. AOCTW = one of the best 90's punk albums. Maybe a bit overrated, but not as much as "Smash" by The Offspring, or 99% of anything Bad Religion has ever done.

Rancid had their moment with that album, they never captured it again though.

I also can't stand Rancid and the fake accent thing (Rancid are, of course, not the only American punk band guilty of doing that).

Rancid's only moment was Operation Ivy.

Operation Ivy were as equally average as Rancid. I will take "...And Out Come the Wolves" over Op Ivy's album though.
