good job on it.

"Catching your mistake?"

That wasn't a mistake, that was you pretending like you knew what the **** you were talking about, which you obviously don't.

Do you want a play by play of how this went down or something? Because you seem to be forgetting you changing your story twice to cover up for your "mistake."

You really need to quit gloating cause youve caught one mistake.

You're the one that wants to keep acting like you didn't just get caught with your pants down.

Oh, and guess what?

"I was reffering to modern green day."

Right there. So what were you referring to exactly, early Green Day, modern Green Day, or the bottom of my post?

You know what? Don't answer that. Even though you couldn't possibly make more of an idiot of yourself, I really don't want to see you try.

sleepy jack 09-27-2005 05:10 PM

Yeah i was reffering to modern green day with your bottom post they are a pop band on MTV right?

A. He made that post while I was still writing mine.
B. I told you not to answer that, but you did. So, you know, shut up.
C. Stop changing your story.

Mod guy, I'm shutting up now.

Thank You

Good ol' arguments, ah yes....

But has anyone noticed that the Ramones are winning the poll?

I voted for umm...Buzz****s' "Singles Going Steady".

Peace, hoes.

<<<>>> 09-27-2005 07:37 PM

theres not many bands i hate more than the ramones but i guess i cant complain about them winning since i put them on the poll in the first place.

note:i never noticed fenixpunk was a mod

<<<>>> 09-27-2005 07:49 PM

ok so i know the argument between misfits and expletive is over (hopefully), but i'd like to point out in misfits defense, that he didnt specifically say early Green Day wasnt pop punk, he only said they werent pop punk in general. in a heated conversation one tends to be a little less carefull with one's words, ya know? but...green day are total rubbish and id rather not talk about them anymore.

oh and there have been a few good nu-metal bands; tool (if you consider them nu-metal),At The Drive-IN (at the time they were classified as nu-metal) and well i cant really think of anymore but none-the-less, im sure there are some good ones ive never heard of.

At what time? I've never heard ATDI described as anything other than Post-Hardcore or Emo (Post-Hardcore by people who don't like Emo, Emo by people who do).

it was either Guitar One or Guitar world that had an aticle about them interviewing the band back around the time of Relationship of Command, they clearly stated that ATDI were nu-metal, I never said i thought they were i said they considered them numetal,

The question here should be "how the **** are the Ramones NOT pop-punk?"

Duh.

Hellhound-138 10-17-2005 02:31 AM

duh

I would say Ramones & Generation X were the best. GenX should be on the list if the ramones are.

The Ramones are pop-punk, thats a known fact. They were catchy, they were popular, and they were punk:usehead: . Most classic punk is poppunk. What you belive is pop-punk today has nothing to do with punk, it was mislabeled, emo, trash.

You may know what pop-punk is, but you sure as hell don't know what emo is.

yeah youre right. I thought I knew what it was when I wrote that, but I was reading about emo today and I was wrong. Sorry, I was misinformed. I still hate emo though.

Haha, ok. It just really annoys me that emo has this bad rep based because of bands that aren't even emo.

i dont quite see social distortion as pop punk. theyre more rockabilly with a punk influence. dont know why theyre on that list.

id say my pick out of that list would be the descendents album.
