I think that time has passed. He doesn't like me, I'm bored of not liking him but I still can't like someone who doesn't like me.

*shrug*

You're going off on a tangent there, chief. It's how and what you said to MB members. It's not your take on women in general - not that really I care for one second what you think.

Fine, mon ami. You keep grinding that axe. I'll keep making threads you don't like and besmirching gods you do.

Seriously though the best punk album of the 70s was Buzzcocks Singles Going Steady. One of the best pop albums ever with about 20 of the best choruses ever made. The kind of album you can throw on repeat and learn something new about the concept of catchiness every single time.

Everything that punk did during and past this album was important, but nothing that happened was as transcendently lovable.

Well of course you're too wrongheaded to be able to admit the obviously correct answer.

The complete lack of The Undertones marvelous debut in this thread triggers me so hard.

Nah that whole album is great. I have the deluxe edition with 30 songs, and I loved it all the way through. Despite the legendary status of Teenage Kicks (which in spite of being a great, iconic song, wasn't actually on original pressings of the album), my favorite song on there might be Girls Don't Like It. Honestly my favorite '70s album.

Different strokes I guess.

I mean say what you want about the Descendents but saying that album isn't punk is pretty objectively wrong.
