I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that. |

The War On Errorism album was funny.
"I can't believe what an absoulute failure, The presidents laughin' because he voted for Nader" It brought a smile to my face, not to mention I felt they haven't ditched their punk background completly in that album, especially after listening to The Seperation Of Church And Skate. |

You kids have got it wrong, NOFX are a decent band, one of the best 90's melodic punk bands. Every album up to and including "Punk in Drublic" is great. I haven't heard much since but I do imagine they have become more than a little bit stale, there is only so much a band could do with such a one dimentional sound.
They have created a lot of evil in the fact that a lot of bands that really suck have coppied the sound that NOFX created and really watered that sound down. I don't think that should detract from how good NOFX's first 4 or 5 albums were. The Longest Line EP Ribbed S&M Airlines White Trash.......... Punk in Drublic are the NOFX albums that I would rate as being well above average punk albums. As for being a political punk band??? WTF that must be a new thing for them as their early stuff had very little to no politics. |

Yea, I think NOFX kinda went down hill after Punk in Drublic, an album that I used to adore. They have a few good songs here and there after that album, but it just isn't the same imo.
