The Pop Punk Appreciation Thread
Alright, I'm prepared for the endless flaming and being called a ***got. I know pop punk is a much derided genre, and that so called "serious" punks deride the genre for not being "real" punk. But you know what? I'm not a pretentious hipster, so I don't give a ****. I love the genre and I don't care who knows it. With that in mind, I decided to create a thread for like minded people who love punk music with delicious pop hooks. So go ahead and discuss your favorite bands, songs, or albums in the realm of pop punk, or you could just discuss the genre itself. This thread won't end well, will it?

This is my favorite pop punk album ever, and my 5th all time favorite album. 12 songs in just over half an hour, with all the teen angst and heartbreak you'd want from a pop punk album. Masterpiece.
I'd like to listen to more Saves The Day. Any recommendations for the next album I should listen to? |

Wow, I am actually really happy this thread is off to a good start. I expected backlash from the get go, but I'm pleasantly surprised to see the positive responses so far. Thanks for the recs, Tristan. I'll be sure to check them out.
