1. No Wolf Like The Present 2. Continuum 3. Tilting at the Univendor 4. Governed By Contagions 5. Pendulum in a Peasant Dress 6. Incurably Innocent 7. Call Broken Arrow 8. Holtzclaw 9. Torrentially Cutshaw 10. Ghost Tape No. 9 11. Hostage Stamps Qwerts? Tristan? Elph? Any of you assh*les listen t this yet? I'm a couple track in and it's a bit underwhelming. I'm pretty convinced after disliking Antemasque and Bosnian Rainbows and the last two Volta albums that Cedric and Omar have lost it. Deloused in the Comatorium is a top 3 all time album for me. The first four Volta albums were great but it's just been so long since I've really gotten into anything they've done since Bedlam in Goliath. Shame. The album isn't horrendous so far by the way. Its just kind of meh. |
The closing track is pretty rad.

I've given it a few listens. I would rate it a bit higher than a meh. The band has lost a bit of the bite that they had. I'll probably keep listening over the weekend.

I've been out all day but will listen as soon as I'm out of the ****ter

I like this actually. Sorry Exo.
Tilting at the Univendor, Incurably Innocent, and Hostage Stamps are the best tracks. |

Yes I'm also liking this record a lot. It's better than it has any right to be and frankly I was expecting a shit show as far as a comeback record is concerned but after listening to it about 5 times by now my conclusion is that Omar and Cedric understand their legacy and aren't trying to piss all over it. 4/5
Relationship Of Command it ain't though. Let's get that straight. |
