They weren't Ramones or Sex Pistols punk. But, they were around at the punk revolution.
They had a very punk 50s sound. Only one album the self titled Blue Angel. It's in the top 20 of my all-time favorite albums. There's a great photo of Joey Ramone holding the album proudly in Punk Magazine.
Oh, and their lead singer was Cyndi Lauper.
When the band broke up (business problems) some one took out a backpage personal comment that read "Cyndi you're no blue angel".
They were a GREAT live band. If you like 50s and punk this is a must have.
