You know all I did was compare the first track on all three records and chose my favorite of only those three and then again with the second track on all three records and so on. It’s not an overall top 14 from all three records.

Mos def but as the 12th track it was up against Commando and Ramona

Commando is the clear champ imo and Ramona is really hard to beat as well

Okay that was easier even if I feel dirty about having the unfair choice of "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker" vs. "Suzie Is a Headbanger".

1. Cretin Hop (RtR)
2. Rockaway Beach (RtR)
3. Judy Is a Punk (S/T)
4. Oh Oh I Love Her So (LH)
5. Chain Saw (S/T)
6. Sheena Is a Punk Rocker (RtR)
7. We're a Happy Family (RtR)
8. Teenage Lobotomy (RtR)
9. Swallow My Pride (LH)
10. Listen to My Heart (S/T)
11. I Can't Give You Anything (RtR)
12. Let's Dance (S/T)
13. Surfin' Bird (RtR)
14. Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World (S/T)

Rocket to Russia is the pretty clear winner with 7, Ramones has a respectable 5, and Leave Home trails with 2. And we only agreed on 7 songs.

I Can’t Give You Anything over 53rd and 3rd? Are you sure?

I can see where you’re coming from with all your picks though.

Except 53rd and 3rd even if I Can’t Give You Anything is incredible. I like that you chose Chain Saw even though I didn’t.

Joey is fire on that song but honestly the rest of the band takes a back seat in a way that doesn't do them any favors for me. It's pretty okay but not a fire song. "I Can't Give You Anything" though is one of those Ramones pop songs that doesn't do much but is just pure fun and I just love those little blasts of happy minimalist nihilism from the band. If "You Should Never Have Opened that Door" from track 14 of Leave Home was the demo version it would have possibly overturned "Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World" for the same reason. Honestly though I'd say track 11 was collectively possibly the weakest place on all three albums.

Dee Dee sings the best part:

Then I took out my razor blade
Then I did what God forbade
Now the cops are after me
But I proved that I'm no sissy
