Is Green Day punk or nah?
 

I think they have a couple of punk rock songs but they're an alternative band overall. What do you think?

They went from being a decent cool band on Lookout! Records to being the weakest band in the history of rock'n'roll. I mean like Billy Joel would have been embarrassed to do that Broadway ****. I lack the vocabulary to express how sad and pathetic that was. New Direction or One Direction or whatever they're called look at that and call it weak. Goerge Bush watching Guiding Light level lame. Not so lame it's cool. Just the lowest ****ing fungus ever.

A least they're not Blink 182.

God. I like a lot of those pop punk bands, but Blink 182 is worse then sex with a cactus.

I don't know about that. Songs like Jaded were pretty punk.

Your mom is pretty punk.

If you know about their origins at Gilman and Lookout! They we punk. They ended up much worse than Blink 182.

I'd say they were punk til they started working on an album.
