The Outsiders
Some of the finest punk ever written and committed to audio, in my personal opinion. Also, "Calling on Youth" was the first independently-released punk LP in Britain. Adrian Borland, the frontman and founder of the Outsiders, went on to front the post-punk band, the Sound, and then to a solo project, and small side projects such as the Citizens. Sadly, he suffered from schizoaffective disorder, and, although he joked about it in life (a Christmas card of the mid-'90s to a friend read, "have a schizo Christmas!"), he took his life on the 26th of April, 1999. |

Funny thing you mentioned them. There are few bands named The Outsiders, and I was listening to them yesterday trying to figure who's who on Spotify.
I also like The Sound. Adrian Borland was talented, and it is a shame he get fame or recognition, or whatever he was looking for. I like their album From The Lions Mouth.
