Default Forgotten Early 80's Hardcore Punk Album Cover?

There's this early 80's hardcore album with an all-black cover, and a hand drawn crappy skull and crossbones looking thing on the cover in grey. It was also featured among many others in the opening credits of SLC Punk!, but I'm having trouble remembering the title or the band. I don't think I've heard any songs in particular from it but I wish to after I find out what it is.

Can anyone help me out?

OK, so I looked up SCL Punk! and found it on youtube. I came across this in the opening credits, but only problem was the top part was clipped.

Greg Littlewood was the film's cinematographer. The clipped text says "Director of Photography".

So what you're telling me is that it's not a hardcore album cover, or the hardcore album cover Tristan Geoff is looking for?

Not at all. I was just trying to help you decipher the clipped text. Anyway, I did some digging. Every card in the intro is an edited version of an existing album, and with Greg's, I think he stuck his name, and the skull, on one that was edited of all distinguishing features. Or maybe it was on the blank front of the Big Beat '82 UK version of The Damned's Black Album, who knows?

The point is, nobody seems to know which album it is. Even when someone pretty knowledge in Punk lists the albums in the opening credits, they tend to skip over that one (for example: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/i...8065828AAitr1J). It's just not unique enough to identify without a doubt, from what I can tell.

Good luck, though. Here's some good footage of the opening credits, if you need it: SLC Punk (1998) — Art of the Title

Yup. That's what I'm looking for alright. Like the others stated, this isn't the album title. The cast and crew were placed onto various albums of this era.

If anyone can look into this and find what band that actually is it'd be a big help, I've looked all I could for it. I do know that I've seen the real tirle before but have no clue where.

Also, the drawing is definitely part of the cover, that much I remember. The rest was shopped in like the other covers in the opening.

i've always assumed that was some Flipper album i've never seen....

i looked hard for anyone who may have made a list of all the albums in that opening and seriously cannot find one....which is honestly very surprising

Thanks for your effort. I might resort to contacting one of the producers, if tge results go on like this for much longer.

Isn't there a smart phone app where you can take a picture of something and it'll find it for you on the internet? idk I ran out of ideas and only grasping at straws.
