Anyone remember these guys or still listen to them even? They're a punky pop band I guess.

The only song I remember of them from years ago was on a VHS from a Kerrang magazine and was called 'My Friends Over You'.

I only just downloaded one of their newer albums the other week and they sound practically the same.

Just my opinion but they're sort of on the same level as Blink 182, Sum 41, Green Day aren't they?

i remember how much i dislike them and Simple plan. they made Blink 182 sound decent.

I quite like them when I think back and now they sound better but the singer sounds exactly the same. I thought his voice might have dropped a bit but, nope lol

I admit to seeing these guys when I was about 16. Jesus they were awful. They made Green Day look like Poison Idea.

The lead singer of New Found Glory looks like Quentin Tarantino now, also possesses the whiniest voice known to mankind.

I've just been trawling through bands I used to listen to and how they look now.
It's scary when you remember a track and think "oh ****, that was 12 years ago!".
Where does the time go??

Saw a bit of New Found Glory's set at this years Soundwave festival. Was heading from watching The Aquabats to Faith No More and they were on a stage in between. I must say, live they are very horrible. Have not listened to anything they've recorded yet but if live sound is something to go off, I shall be fine thank you.

New Found Glory is just way too cheesy for me. I hate those extremely whiny vocals. There's a few whiny vocals I can still tolerate, but NFG goes too far.
Also I hate the lyrics.

Yeah, I remember listening to them for the first time in 2007. I was listening to Kiss Me. I found Jordan's voice to be very annoying... so I never bothered to listen to them. Years go by, and I am suddenly a huge fan of pop punk - I giggled at your description of punky pop - and those guys become one of my all time favorite bands. I had 20k NFG plays on last.fm.
