Why is this even in the rock forum?
Was it before there was ever a punk forum?

This thread sucks. None of the bands people have said are punk except Ramones, sex pistols, agent orange. I think those are the only punk bands posted on here.
And dogman, you are a ****ing retard. You obviously dont know what the **** you are even saying. Any american punk is way more politically minded than the Sex Pistols. They were just a pop-punk band. UK punk didnt get really pollitical until bands like Conflict came along years later. Its impossible to choose a favorite since punk has such a broad range of styles. Favorite old school is Ramones, favourite anarchist is Crass, favourite hardcore is Black Flag and Bad Religion.
