Is someone into Yugolsavian new wave? I think that it was the greatest new wave scenes after, obviously, USA and UK. I' ll write somethink about that in the next days/weeks, but for the moment i want to talk about Republika, one of the greatest new wave bands from Poland and one of the most knows. Their sound is charaterized by cold guitar riffs, groovy bass sound, flute, piano patterns and especially by the passionate and intense voice of Ciechowksi, the vocalist and the leader of the band. They are often considered the Polish Talking Heads. Maybe the language at the first times can be difficult for a listeners that is not from Est Europe (like me
