what the f*ck does punctuation have to do with conformity?
You should stop posting here, cause you know, that's conforming. and no, this is your 5 millionth gizillionth post about the Sex Pistols and how hot Sid Vicious is blah blah blah. You make threads about Green Day and LOC, after learning about them from Jesus and Misfitspunk, and then talk about conformity? Hahahaha.

Ok I acctually read it now. And I totaly agree with you on the incredible impact the sexpistols had on music. And they will continue to have. Who here dosnt own never mind the bollacks? But I also agree that Sid was pretty much as talentless as they came and the sex pistols have pretty much lost most of there appeal to me. But I do agree with you that they had a profound impact on music and were a mind blowing band at the time.

im not an expert on punk music, but as far as im concerned the sex pistols were what punk is all about- aggressive, anarchic edge sticking two fingers up at the establishment. i am in no way a sid vocious fan whatsoever and im not really a fan of the messages and ideals the sex pistols conveyed, but matlock had a lot of musical talent and his song writing was great and very apt for the time. lydon exuded rage and he alone could entice an audience. their songs were catchy and completely original- which is always good, and nevermind the bollocks is not only one of the greatest punk albums ever made- it is a quintessential investment for any music fan. personally i prefer the damned and the clash to them, that said, the pistols were cool

The Sex Pistols
Now...i did a search as far as i'm aware...the last thread was in late 2004 - when a fair few of us wern't here and there were only 6 posts...instead of post in that i thought hey - ill start a fresh one. Problems? Direct them to your local moderator.
What do you think of them ? I know a LOT of people think they were all for show but i personally love their music stylings. God save the Queen is in my opinion their best song. But pretty vacant and Anarchy in the UK are not far away!
