I think you're forgetting the aspect that typically an average persons best creativity of music at during the earlier stages of life. Typically by 40 is the time when you realize this person is going to be making ****ty music for another 20 years, and never have a big of a hit as they did in the 1970s or 80s.

I think a new album would be radical!
Just to see what current topics they write about.

Time is ticking...and they're not going to live forever!

My predictions are:
1) It won't be radical
2) You need to grab a dictionary and recheck the definition of radical, and try to associate it was 50 year old has-beens making music.

PS: I hope they write a song completely focused on bashing Sid Vicious. Come on, you know Lydon will say anything for a little attention.

The term radical is more than fitting for anything that relates to lydon..

Seeing how he possesses radical ideals.

Agreed. Listen to Public Image Ltd. and tell me that Lydon isn't radical.

I think the Sex Pistols could pull of a fun cover album but I don't think they could pull off original material. I just don't think they could get a real powerful message that would strike a chord with people and on the rare chance they did I don't think it would be taken very seriously. They're just not the people to do it anymore, they're too old and they just scream irrelevancy.
