Quick Question from a new user.
I'm not sure what they would be classified as but I figured it would be punk. The band La Dispute has a song called The Most Beautiful Bitter Fruit and in the song they have a line that says, "Caught somewhere between delusion and prophecy." What do you think these lyrics mean? My friend wants this as a tattoo and he wanted me to find out what other people think it is. He has his own meaning to it.

I'm a newbie too but I've heard a lot *about* this band and never bothered to check um out, mainly because from what I've heard it's not the kinda punk I'd normally be into. That said, I think the lyrics means having high expectations or aspirations in oneself but failing to live up to them or maybe coming to terms with one's own naivete. As for the tattoo, band related tattoos, especially in punk, are lame. It's like you're begging for approval or 'cred' (pfffft) or something. My 2 cents.
