Default A Clockwork Orange

Yeah well I've finally got around to watching this film. I really enjoyed but can't help feeling abit let down. I previously read the book of this and it by far bits the Kubrick made film. Despite that it is still a great piece of film which I recommend, along with the book.
If anyone one is pondering the relverance this film has, it has influence when punk, oi! bands.

Like I've said before. I like the movie, I'm a BIG kubrik fan. But I dont think most people get the point. And I hate all the kiddies running around talking about how cool ultraviolence and rape are. It really makes me sick. I also think the whole gimik that bands use is just stupid.

The book is much better. Anthony Burgess created his own slang for it that was a hybrid of Russian and English. Punk bands aren't the only ones that have hopped on the clockwork Orange bandwagon, there's also a hip hop MC who draws heavily from the movie, though I can't remember his name right now.
