Muse copies Nirvana
Just watching some Palladia today and I watched Nirvana at the Paramount then Muse at Rock at the Ring.
Found a shockingly similar performance of Nirvana ended their encore with "Endless Nameless" off of Nevermind and Muse finishing "Stockholm Syndrome" with some freestyling. Both had a very similar rhythm/lead transition pattern, feedback, and randomly tuning of the E string throughout. I doubt Muse was really trying to copy this, but it REALLY turned out similar. |

If you don't think they were consciously ripping them off, what's the problem? Muse is a good band and their sound doesn't sound anything like Nirvana so just cause they sounded similar on ONE occasion it doesn't mean they're ripping them off here's a true Nirvana rip off

Muse does it regularly. I'd say fifty percent of their material is borrowed. I like some Muse thought so i'm not necessarily reprimanding them for doing what everyone has done sice gregorian chant, borrow elements from others music. One strikingly similar one i noticed and have mentioned several times is the following songs.
