Being a punk is to belong to a music genre that in the mid seventies shook the music world to its foundations.
For the first time punk illustrated that anyone with a modicum of talent and a strong message could at last express themselves to a record buying audience without having to be a so called musician.That anyone could be in a band! Punk radically changed the course of music forever, it changed the rules and blew it wide open. Thats what punk really is! |
