It had to be done, he started a twitter account. And he stopped shooting heroin. Not even Jon Bon Jovis daughter is a quitter.

Myeah, although no doubt I'll get hate from the purists. I'm not sure I can actually label them in any order either.

Bad Religion
Propagandhi
Minor Threat
Fugazi
NOFX
Rancid (uhrly)
Descendents
Black Flag
Dropkick Murphys
Gallows

Kinda hard to put it into ten, but I left out some of those in the original list to make it more..er...original?

If you took out NOFX and Dropkick Murphys that list would be decent enough for me. Looking forward to Fugazi they will be playing So-Cal shortly. All the people on that list are fairly main stream acts in the punk universe.

Figured you'd say as much, but not as bad as you first thought I hope

Can't turn my back on NOFX, i'm not even going to pull the hipster routine, they've been a constant in my music listening since I was a bairn. Dropkick murphy's well, I like my celtic punk.

Well my opinion amounts to a pile a dung in the end. I actually enjoyed the NOFX show they had on VH1 I believe. They basically toured around the world and never got paid, snorted alot of coke, and hated each other the entire time. It was entertaining, albeit i'm not a fan myself. They have to get some cred for sticking around so long though regardless of what people think of them.

Thanks for being honest. Don't get me wrong, I don't see them as amazing musicians or brilliant lyricists but, for me anyway, they're the band that symbolise writing/doing whatever you feel like, enjoying yourself and getting as ****ed up as you can along the way. I didn't see that VH1 show, but they were bloody hilarious live.

It was called Backstage Passport, looked it up for ya. Check it out, it was rather hilarious at times. They were just as popular as all the other bands when I was in high school, their just not my thing.

Thank ye kindly sir, I'll give it a watch. I would tell you to watch the Cokie the Clown vids on youtube, but there's only really one funny part of it and I doubt you'd want to listen to the songs in between

They weren't really that well known where I was, but among those who did, so many threw a War On Errorism tantrum, which is fair enough. Some of them have good reasons, but for others it was the first NOFX album they heard, they liked it, but then they decided to go "oldschool". It's them I feel sorry for.
