Other tracks on the mix tape, if it helps:
Pere Ubu - Non-Alignment Pact Primal Scream - It Happens Shriekback - Nemesis Joy Division - Digital Transvision Vamp - Trash City Billy Bragg - Help Save The Youth of America A hardcore punk version of Amazing Grace I've never been able to track down. There was another punk song that I've never been able to identify, but has distinctive lyrics. I should post that separately some time. I actually did post that one several years ago, but no replies. (I do realize that what I'm listing above isn't really "punk" and the track I'm looking for is. The only truly punk songs he had, I can't identify. But it does kind of establish a time frame.) |

How frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!! I have this cover version ( I am always certain it's the one you are talking about) on an old cassette but only track listings and no artists as it was a comp done for me by a friend and ex member of Napalm Death but I haven't seen him for a couple of years now

Wait!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am sure it is this! I had an odd feeling it was the band snuff from a flexidisc way back (only those of a certain age will remember them!). Go to 2 mins on the vid and it's there (at least it's the version I am going on about!)
