Alice Donut
 

A New York punk band. They were around for ten years before disbanding in 1996, but got back together in 2001. They have about 26 awesome releases, 10 full lengths. According to wikipedia: "Their music is a mixture of hard rock, punk, and post-punk and typically features melodic, guitar heavy, odd metered, and rhythm based pieces, often punctuated with brass instrumentation."

They're good.

I saw them at the Alt. Tentacles 30 year reunion party. I liked them.

I've been listening to them a lot lately. They are awesome in a unique way. I overlooked this band.

I heard they're kinda like the Butthole Surfers at times - off the wall, crazy, etc.

Dunno how accurate that is but nonetheless, I'm intrigued and have been meaning to check them out for ages.
