that song is by Subhumans ....and i love that song

i think one of my problems with Clash is that i got into the angry anarchist crap really earlly and those guys hated Joe Strummer for saying when he got money he'd help everyone out....but never doing it

That is a great song. I loved the debut Clash Album from the get go, its a great record. I think their reggae influenced political message gets lost on some me included but that record is pretty outstanding. I never really liked Crass, anybody want a free copy of Stations Of The Crass let me know.

i still have a soft spot for Crass.....it's weird i was listening to Feeding of the 5000 the other day and thinking to myself...."wow i disagree with almost 90% of what they're talking about....but the album still holds up in my eyes"

but Subhumans....will always get play with me....and seemingly often

I just can't get past the lyrics and their lack of being Discharge. :O)

Subhumans while being one of punks poster boy bands are just flatout amazing and register big with me. I think their rythym guitar alone would make me listen to an album.

Listened to Conflict's The Serenade Is Dead last night and forgot how much that band means to my listening pleasure. Gotta dig out some more and listen this weekend.

Only caught them twice but their live show was earth shattering. I miss The Olympic. Their show at The Palladium turned into a full on riot gear scene after the show, people were breaking windows and getting tear gas lobbed at them. Great times. LOL

it was pretty mellow....well as mellow as a Conflict show could be when i saw them in Seattle....kind of the typical old punk band show.....over 21 upstairs getting drunk....downstairs kids getting angry...good times

I had the pleasure of seeing them in 89 and 91. I can't recall anybody doing anything because it was an absolute melee. The kind of melee that was all in good fun.
