I've heard a few songs from ST. 2 being Institutionalised and Possessed to Skate. I can actually see how they could be taken as a joke according to what I've heard. However I'll give their self titled a go, so I can't really say much.

Crazy?
I actually honestly work with a dude who recently tried to convince me that this... ... was the greatest technical punk album ever. Better than anything by NOFX or Bad Religion too. I tried to convince him to check out NoMeansNo, he refused because I'm not the first person to recommend their greatness to him and he doesn't want to get into them because of 'hype'. All I could think of was... I just kind of smile and nod when he talks to me about music now. |

I have a hard time deciding my favorite punk records. I'm sure I've made a top five or ten list, but it changes constantly. Right now I'm thinking it's S/T by Bad Brains Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables by Dead Kennedys Is This My World? by Jerry's Kids S/T by Suicidal Tendencies Wrong by NoMeansNo And I could keep going, because there's about 50 albums I could consider a top five punk album. That's why lists are always so controversial. |
